  1. Ostriches and humans each have two feet, which are used for walking or running. Placing one foot in front of the other results in a forward locomotion.

Two feet also means they can use bicycles or tricycles with two pedals, one for each foot.

    Blessings ;)

  2. 1)  Convergent evolution.  This is when two unrelated animals develop superficial similarities because of natural selection.  Examples are dolphins and sharks; bats and birds; or, in this case, ostriches and humans.

    2)  They could be closely related.  Not likely in this case, since ostriches are birds and humans are mammals.

  3. All birds walk on two feet (when they are on the ground.)

  4. you should have paid attention in class

  5. You mean they a bipedal

  6. Two feet

  7. 1 Humans and ostriches share a common ancestor. 2 Two legs may be more efficient for running long distances and they convergently evolved this characteristic.

2 is more likely.  Humans and birds are separated by hundreds of millions of years and our ancestors past 10 million years ago were not bipedal.
