  1. To get a feel of how much moisture is in the air during the summer you look at the dew points and during the winter you look at the humidity.

During the summer Florida is usually always humid b/c you have the the Gulf of Mexico to your West and the Caribbean to you East and South as well.  Very rarely during the summer months does Florida not experience high humidity.  The only time this occurs is when the winds are coming from the North or NNW.

This usually occurs during the spring months (March and April).  Dew points of 70F to near 80F are very common in Florida during the summer months and temperatures are usually in the 80's so this makes it very uncomfortable.

Basically dew points higher than 65F is when it starts to get really uncomfortable.

  2. From what I could find online I found that the normal humidity in Florida is between 65% and 75%. One of the records in Florida for humidity is very high, almost 100%! Weather reports said that THAT would be a very uncomfortable humidity for the state of Florida. Hope it helps!!

  3. The normal humidity is between 40%-60%. That's the amount where it's not too dry or  not too humid. Usually in Florida the humidity is usually more than 60%.

  4. ...above 65% to 70%  and with hotter temperatures, stay inside...
