The central defender stated that the team did not allow the opposition any clear chances and created a host of opportunities which is very encouraging at this stage of the season.
“We are very happy with our performance and, of course, the result. The way we played today was the right way to play. We really didn´t allow much through and were brilliant defensively, in all positions. And that was the key today to win this game,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, Hummels’ teammate http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Reus-c23733 added that Dortmund were clearly the better side throughout the course of the 90 minutes. “We controlled the game for 90 minutes. The second goal was very important for us as we virtually sealed the game in the first half. And in the second half we carried on where left off before the break. It was a fully deserved win,” he concluded.
Borussia Dortmund are currently fourth on the league standings table and have accumulated seven points from the first three games played. Bayern Munich continue to lead the table.
