Hummingbird guitar.......and lespaul?

i have a guitar that looks identical to a gibson hummingbird guitar but it does not have gibson at the top but the design and everthing is the same...wat kind is it.....also i am looking to get les paul standard;;;;is it a good guitar

I believe Epiphone makes a look a like hummingbird.

The headstock should give someone an idea of whether or not it is a Gibson.  If it is a Gibson, it will have a serial number on the back of the headstock and that will even give you the date of manufacture.  

Les Pauls are good guitars if you want to carry an anchor around on your neck.
