Question:

Hunter/Jumper Potential?

Do you think this horse has the potential to make a hunter/jumper horse for low level shows. The 'big' shows we go to are what 'A' people use as schooling shows. Does anything stand out to you that would make him incapable of doing well? I dont have any better pics or a video, sorry.

  1. well my horse is not even as well trained as jake but i'm still going to local shows.. i mean you gotta start somewhere right? find out how good he does in the shows and just keep on mooving up!!

    he looks very nice btw!

  2. Yes! I think he'd make a great hunter/jumper. He's got a great head and looks really good. He's got great conformation and if he jumps as high as you said you'd be crazy not to give him a try in the arena. He looks like a great mover. Hope you enjoy. : )

  3. yea def! he already jumps 3'9" and it says he has alot of scope. I take my green horses that are still learning to correct themselves o/f to shows like that.

just remember to keep him collected and possibly move faster towards the jump because he's not tucking his knees as together. (thats what it looks like in the one picture, but the other one over the pink fence looks great)

  4. he's luvly. got fairly good conformation etc, and a nice presence about him. Just go for it. All you can do is try, right?
