I have had a few times where the deer was still in the back of the pickup truck, I come home to butcher it and my girl just wants to do it in the back lawn! I think it is something primal about me the provider literally brining home the meat.

OK, but does she help you gut it and then cook it for you ?? does she fetch you a cold beverage to wash it down ??  fix you a pie so you can replenish the energy you spent hunting / gathering the meal ?? if not , you need to train her a little better !!  yes , if i was dating at the present time, all the above and more would be done for my man !!

I'm a hunter too. When me or my husband shoot something I just get a rush...I've actually pounced on him and made sweet love in a deer blind right after I shot a deer.
