Okay, I live in Louisiana (Slidell) and right now it's raining pretty bad. Is this part of Hurricane Dolly?

Just wondering. :)

  2. I don't think that you have to much to worry about. You might feel some effects of hurricane Dolly but i think you might be o.k. Check The Weather Channel.com to look for updates. Hope this helps....

  3. Yes. Some of the outer rain bands did reach Louisiana.

    [edit]

    Dolly is moving very slowly.

The rain you are experiencing should continue for some time.

If you must go out, do not cross flooded streets!

  4. It has the weather screwed up all over American.  Here in Central  New Jersey we had a tornado warning this afternoon due to rotating clouds and severe thunderstorms.  It is now 11pm and the thunderstorms are still coming and going.

  6. It could be from the outskirts of the storm.

Hurricane Dolly is currently at the Texas/Mexico border.

I live in Florida and I am very surprised that we haven't had storm yet.

  7. Well, right now Dolly made landfall in southern Texas. It's probably part of it, but I think you're safe. :)
