Hurricane Fay in Miami?

Question

Okay so I'm going to Miami, FL on Thursday August 21, 2008. Do you think my flight will be delayed because of it? Do you think it will hit Thursday? Any info I should know?

maybe, depends on how fast it moves. Right now, according to the projected path on weather.com, it is supposed to be out of Florida and into South Carolina on Thursday. So your flight probably wont be delayed by this storm. You guys might encounter rain in miami though and its the rain that might delay it (if the plane cant land safely in the rain...)

Chances are no.  It's projected to be crossing into Georgia early Thursday morning.  Unless it does something weird - which isn't out of the realm of possibility - you'll completely miss it.
