Hurricane Gustav: God's punishment of Republicans?

There are several Democrats who are strong supporters of Barack Obama, including Michael Moore, and former DNC chairperson and Democratic congressman John Spratt who have stated that Gustav is Gods way of undermining the Republican National Convention.

Now, I ask you...if Shawn Hannity or Rush Limbaugh had made similar statements about Hurricane Katrina, what would be the reaction in the media?
