Where is that suppose to hit first (in the U.S.)?

What states are expected to be affected by it?

It's supposed to hit SE Louisiana just west of New Orleans.  Most of Louisiana, east Texas, SE Oklahoma, S Arkansas, are all expected to have heavy rainfall with potential flooding.  The hurricane could still turn slightly east or west, affecting Mississippi if it turns east, and most of Texas if it turns west.

between Texas and New Orleans.

Well I know the eye of Katrina hit Pascagoula, MS and flooded New Orleans, LA.  This one I think is going to hit Alabama near Mobile.  This one is a beast so better watch out.  I remember seeing the storm damage when I was there after Katrina hit.

Landfall to the west of New Orleans.They are expected to get the worse of it.It will be nasty from the panhandle of Flordia all the way to Texas.

New Orleans will take the blunt of it, then Houston as it moves North West inland.
