Explain/Discuss how Hurricane Katrina affected the diversity in plants and animals population........................

  1. they weren't affected that much

Actually the damage is yet to be seen.  Look at 9/11 they said the air was safe to breathe.  Now everyone that did rescue and the people in a 60 mile radius approx. are ill.  Katrina is yet to be seen.  Some are already ill with MCS and more is expected.  if the people are ill the environment has suffered damage.  There was a huge contamination there that is not being mentioned. I know I did Frances and Jeanne. People here are sick and it wasn't like Katrina.  Katrina had a major flood and more, spills, lots of toxins.

  3. Actually the diversity of plants and animal wasnt greatly affected. While some plants and animals died, none were wiped out completely and most places have recovered significantly.
