What does it mean if you are in a hurricanes cone?

The expected coarse of travel of a hurricane is cone shaped.  The point of the cone is the eye of the  hurricane and the bottom, wide part of the cone, is it's expected coarse of travel. Further away from the eye of the hurricane the expected coarse is more uncertain so the possible coarse gets broad.

It means that the hurricane can actually hit you.. by changing its path or the size of the storm can reach out..
