Question

if i live near cocoa is there a good chance that a tornando wil come?!??

i am frightened of tornados and so are my kids.

i just want to no if there will be any of them will they be bad or...

Yes, these type of storms have high tornadic activity in the upper right quadrants of the storm usually. Most of east florida is under a tornado watch and one touched down in Melbourne. (I think) Just be prepared and listen to ur news station. Be safe.

Tornadoes that occur in tropical storms or hurricanes usually are found in the stronger storms and are short lived.  

There is a band of strong storms just to your north and this area should stay to your north.  The center of the storm is moving your way, so just be cautious and stay tuned to the local weather station.

If there are any tornadoes they will be weak and not last very long, but still any tornadoes are more likely to the north of Cocoa.  

Also, if there is a tornado warning for your area issued just make sure to go to a sturdy interior room and protect yourself under sturdy furniture or a mattress or something.
