  1. The 2008 Hurricane Season is rapidly approaching, and earlier this month the worlds most trusted hurricane forecaster, Dr. William Gray, along with colleague Philip J. Klotzbach produced their updated report of predictions for the 2008 Hurricane Season. Gray, Professor of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University, has been studying hurricanes for decades and introduced the first yearly forecasts for hurricanes in 1984. Based upon the information released in the report they have predicted an active 2008 season with a well-above average Atlantic Basin tropical forecast for the year.
