Hurricane season '08?

are there going to be any hurricanes for the summer/fall of 2008? i havent been watching the news so im not up to date. does anyone know if there are going to be any? please let me know when theyre going to happen and their category numbers

  1. you cannot know if there are going to be hurricanes and what category they will be until they actually form. We just have to wait and see. The peak time for hurricanes in the Atlantic basin ranges from late July through early November, so we still have plenty of time to watch things play out.


  2. I live on the east coast ( south carolina) and there have been no hurricanes..there should have been about 3 but all there has been are thunderstorms and tornados, which we have never had..global warming sucksss..

  3. no but here are the past and current ones for right now the are on the east side of mexice so they will not hit but it is to early to tell for our side.

    Arthur was a tropical storm that formed 11 hours before hurricane season. This storm formed from T.S Alma ( a recent storm in the EP ) and  reached a maximum strength of a Tropical Storm. This T.S brought torrential rain to Mexico and caused floods in many places. This weak T.S had a maximum wind of 40 MPH and lasted for 34 Hours ( 1 day(s) 10hour(s) ).
