  1. Hurricanes, cyclones, and typhoons are all high intensity weather cycles that are instrumental in relieving the heat from the ocean.  Thunderstorms are the precursors for hurricanes and the like.

What essentially happens is that ocean water is heated and convective currents garner energy out of the water and form into thunderstorms. As these thunderstorms pass over warm water, they inherit more energy. Eventually, if enough energy is accumulated the storm culminates into a spinning superstorm that will only die when it dissipates energy - usually from passing over cooler substrate or water. This is why many hurricanes start out and end as "tropical storms".

  2. well what happens is

    people in a swimming pool

    do those whirling things

like when they run aorund and around with a group of friends

    and form a whirly pool

    then what happens is

a tornado froms (from a thunderstorm!) and is attracted to the spinning water (cos they can)

    and badooooom..

    HURRICANE!

be a suck up and ask the teacher =]
