  1. yeah itll make your car shake.

but why would you even want it to?

and turn your base up higher for a more intense effect.

    but be careful

if your car makes another car ten feet away shake too

then you can get  a ticket from the cops

  2. the 12"s will be better than 10"s but i would get 15"s

  3. go for 12" all the way. iv got 2 alpine type R 12" subs in sealed boxes and they are great! iv had 10" and 15" but 12" jus gives you all round peformance!

  4. 12" is the universal sub

they'll give you that shaking you want better than the tens

  5. Best thing to do...

Since your truck is already wired for subs ... see if you can borrow someone's box w/12's and figure out if it's going to be enough.  If you don't have a buddy that's got a pair of 12's, maybe you can head to a car audio store and pretend to be interested in their 12's and judge it that way.  12's will hit deeper and harder then 10's in general.  The enclosure also has a great deal with how they'll sound.  Since we're talking "B-O-O-M" ... go with a ported enclosure.  It'll go a long way in making the bass in your ride bounce & reverb everywhere.  I'm thinking the 12's will do the trick ...

  6. If looking like a fool is your personal business, then why don't you make your sound system your personal business as well?

But since you want one to be public, you make both public.

And while you seem bent on just picking anyone who will immediately agree with you; I suggest you go get some 18" subs, and install them. Otherwise, you'll only have a little vibration, instead of a lot.

And you'll look totally foolish at the same time, which seems to be your goal.
