Hurry easy ten points!!?

It there a way for me to hook up video camera to my computer and record directly to the computer. If there a camera that does that or a program. can you give me specific components needed.

If you have a digital video camera with USB or firewire, you can connect it to the computer directly.  The camera should have come with a disk that has the software.
