Hurry i need an answer fast!!!

ok theres a serve thunderstorm warning where im at and the power went out and then came back on!!!

when do i no when to go to the basement???

go to the basement.  You should have a portable radio (battery operated) so you can listen to your local station!

Going to the basement will not change anything.

There is nothing different that will happen to you where you are at that will happen in the basement during a thunderstorm.

#1first you should find some candles and a working flashlight so you will have light.

#2 Get some blankets and warm clothing in case it effects your heating at all I.E. electric thermostat, unless it is warm where you live.

#3 Make sure you have back up batteries in case the ones in the flashlight die.

#4 Get a good book to read to keep you occupied.

#5 Wait out the storm because there is not much else you can do.

k do 1 thing put ur radio(portable) on or ur tv on n keep on gettin the latest updates ....... n as far as i think goin to the basement may not to some xtent ..........will be beneficial ................... y u dont better shift some other part of the countryside  the time being ?
