  1. of course you can play again. But do not move your arm so much to not hurt it again.ok.see you later

  2. I would ask your doctor. If everything is ok with your hand and it just hurts you need to figure out what to do (tape etc.) to make it hurt little enough so you can play thru the pain.

If it's something more serious and you might do dammage to your hand by playing I would sugest that you not play.

  3. I sprained my fingers playing volleyball, and it's definitely not a great feeling.

I played with it, but was very, very careful and taped it up.

A displaced bone is a bit different, and from your post it sounds like you'd be unable to tape it.  When it comes down to actually playing or not, do what you think is best for yourself, and it will likely be best for the team as well.

Follow the golden rule of injuries: if it hurts, don't do it.  If you play in pain, not only may you re-injure yourself, but you may be unable to get to a ball that a healthy sub may get to.

If you do decide you can play with it, make sure to bring ice with you. Ice your hand after each match, 10-20 minutes (depending on how thick the part of your hand that is swollen is, assuming it's swollen).  Also take 1-2 Advil or Motrin consistently every 4 hours to keep the pain and swelling generally down.  I would recommend not taking some before your first game, however, so you can see how much it really hurts without numbing it with drugs.  If it hurts more at night after playing than in the morning before the games, you might want to consider giving it a rest.

  4. tape it, you'll be fine

  5. if you take care of it properly you could definatly play. keep icing it EVERY night and it should be fine.

  6. Chiropractors are charlatans.  Go see a real doctor before you hurt it even more.

The real Doctor may tell you that everything is fine and the pain is just residual but the last thing you want to do is play on a serious injury.  If nothing else, he'll get you some good pain killers and then you can tape it.

  7. check with doctor to see what he say if it go well then go for it

  8. are you mad! if it still hurts means that there's still somethin wrong wid it. You have two options; to either go bak to da doc's office or you go and watch your teammates play while you sit in da audience ok!

  9. Suck it up and put some tape on it so its stable and solid.  Take two tylenols and play through the pain.
