Husband's Ex-wife is using his daughter's birth certificate to bring illegals over?

My Husband's ex wife has used my step-daughter's birth certificate to bring over some girl from Mexico. I called Homeland Security about 2 months ago to report it and nothing. My Husband has custody of his daughter and his ex-wife is refusing to give the birth certificate back, what can we do?

Report it to INS or the FBI.  Government agencies are slow.  She doesn't have to hand over her copy of the birth certificate.  You can get your own copy from the court house if you need one.

Write to Homeland Security; they respond to everything and anything that is in the form of a written complaint. The key word is "written".

probably nothing if even the gov. doesn't believe you...i guess, keep digging for evidence if you truly believe this to be happening...

try calling your local police department and say that you want to report it "stolen" and then explain how it's being used (make sure you have proof) and see what they say.

Call your local police.  She may have done this for more than one person and this can cause your step-daughter much greif and problems in the future.  This is a huge problem actually alot of people are doing this or selling the birth certificates.  Or social security numbers of children.  The children don't know until something happens like an illigal will use the soc for something and it can cause bad credit.  Also it can mess with her 401K and other documents as she gets of age. b/c two people with one number happens alot.  Stop this now.  She should be put in jail for risking her and her daughters lives.
