Husband and Mother conflicting - need help!!!?

My husband and I just got married. We decided to live with my parents. My parents said we can renovate the apt upon our wishes. Then came the money issue so we seek alternative and told them exactly how we can do it for a cheaper price. My husband told them how wants things a certain way and order. My parents agreed and said no problem it will be exactly the way you wanted. My parents put a lot of effort and time on it. When the renovation is over, nothing came out the way we wanted. All the stuff we picked came out wrong. I was afraid to tell my husband. We went back for a house-party and he went to check up on the place. He flipped out when he saw the outcome of the apartment. He's upset with the whole thing. He blames me for not telling him in advance, which causes him and my parents into a little fight. He claims that my parents did not respect his decision on the apartment. Now he says I'm always on their side and he is an outsider. My parents are upset with him being upset at me and them. They feel he is disrespecting them by telling them they're not respecting him. At one point my husband wanted to redo the entire apartment but it will be a waste of money since everything is brand new. So my husband is still upset at me and my parents are upset.

I am not sure what to do now...
