  1. If you already have bikes, then definitely the trailer. It's closer to the ground. If you have a problem, unlikely but a concern, there's a much shorter distance to go. If you need a bike, I recommend something called a bakfiets. It's a mariage between a wheelbarrow on the front and a standard upright bicycle. Check out this link for more:

  2. yup nothing better than a trailer

  3. I would LEAVE HIM HOME ! At least for a few months. Being jarred around in a trailer won't be good for his brain !

  4. There is NO safe way to take a 10 month old riding. The bumping and jostling on the road can cause injuries similar to "shaken baby syndrome". You may not feel it as much, but he will. His neck muscles aren't strong enough yet and he will be bouncing around in the trailer or bike seat. You won't be able to find a helmet that fits properly, either. And don't buy it big and let him grow into it.

Check your local laws. In New York, the minimum legal age for kids in trailers or bike seats is 1 year (although personally, I think it should be at least 18 months)

For his safety and well-being, wait at least a few more months before you take him with you.

  5. get a baby biker seat that hooks up 2 the back of the bike ....u can get them from any bike store

  6. My son and his wife have a really nice little two wheeled cart. Easy to attach a seems very safe. Most any good bike shop or maybe better on line. REI is good place start.

  7. Buy a trailer. My aunt uses it for her 1 year old and she loves riding in it.
