Husband got a good job and they stop my tax credit? Is this fair?

i did my tax credit returns and because my husband has had a promotion they have stopped my credit completely! I didnt get much in the first place. It is just so unfair! I know there are millions of people worse off than me etc etc, and i should be grateful my husband keeps us comfortable but it is so unjust that we are taxed to death because he works hard for his money. If i threw him out, sat on my backside and claimed benefits we would be quids in! It is just not right and i feel angry about this. what are they spending my money on?!

The system is completely unfair the more you earn you get less BUT the more overtime etc you do ,you pay MORE TAX, and they never take into account for wage increases and inflation but i would asked fot it to be checked again as they could have made a mistake and owe you money, good luck and keep trying. lol
