I don't mind p**n - not at all. But I think that our personal pics like this are nothing personal when he views them on his work laptop!!!

Even after he removes the disk, can his IT folks still see what he's viewed, even from a flash disk? Besides, I don't want our great videos out there for everyone to see. Every time he travels with it, we run the risk of him losing it. Then he tells me I'm overreacting and that there's no way he would ever loose it. Yeah.... ok. This is from the person who locks the keys in his car at least twice a year!!!!!

  1. Well hes right nobody can get it after he removes disk, but I am with you in the fact that you don't put in a work PC and you dont travel with it-

  2. If it's on a flash disk then he should be able to protest that disk with a password so no-one else could get access to it, a bl**dy good password though, you wouldn't want anyone else to know it.

Unless he actually transfers the pics from the flash disk then No I don't think anyone else will see them.

  3. can you show us some of the pics or movies?  this would help us answer your question.  as long as he runs them off of the flash disk, he's safe. i don't recommend it at work though.  all it takes is the wrong person to walk by or notice something like that.  Companies don't mess around with stuff like that.

  4. pics  are  safe  on  flash   drive.  no  worries

  5. Why do you want to tempt fate and view these on a WORK computer?

More people ruin their lives because they don't understand that a work computer and all information on it belongs to the employer.

    1. Why does he need it with him on a trip? Can't he exercise some self-control for a couple of days?

    2. If this is an absolute MUST for him to have then for crying out loud get a second laptop and use that. That belongs to you and is not going to be touched by any IT guys. You don't need the biggest and baddest computer to view pics and vids on. Even a $150 laptop could handle that.

Personally if I were you I'd be very skeptical if you haven't already been 'passed' around the office. Regardless of what he may have said. If that doesn't bother you then fine.

Just remember. If you play with fire don't be surprised if you get burned.

    See you online ;-)

  6. probably, the pics probably go into a temporary folder so that they will load easier faster in case he needs to spank out another one.

and to all of the people saying you cant see it, youd be suprised what kind of things you can see with programs like googlecache.

and were going to need to see the pics to decide whether or not its appropriate material

  7. I would not like that either. Especially if the flash key is not password protected.

The IT guys would not be able to see what he viewed after disconnecting the drive so don't worry about that. I would be most concerned about what someone would see if they found it after he dropped it somewhere. I would at least ask that he password protect it.

  8. People can not view the data after the flash drive has been removed. It will say the file can not be located. And even if other people found it, when he was traveling, they would not know it was you.
