  1. How long has he had the pain for?

Sounds like hes pulled a muscle in his neck and that causes alot of pain and can last for a few days just get him to take painkillers untill it eases if it carries on for more than a week get him to see a doc.

If you are worried give NHS Direct a call

  2. He needs to see the doctor but as someone just like him I had the same for few months and it was the way my computer was placed at work - I moved it so it was straight in front of me and my neck is almost better

  3. put a heating pad take him for a drive then bring him to the doctor

  4. Have you tried NHS Direct

    0845 46 47

    Good luck

  5. A million things. Menningitis, gall bladder problems, or just a stiff neck.

  6. It could be from sitting in a draught or tension or several other not unpainful little things, the doctor is his next port of call, anyone who won,t help themselves deserve little sympathy.

  7. it could be a spasm. what you should really do is called the doctor explain the situation and try to make sure the doctors is on your team. then tell your husband you are going to take him to get some medicine or something like that. have the doctor meet you at the door or the car if possible. make sure the doctor knows that this is really bad. take your husband to the doctor involuntarily. yes he will be mad he would love you longer then he would be mad at you

  8. He should see the doctor if not then talk with your surgery they might send a doctor for a home visit.

  9. Sounds like a trapped nerve, if its going into his shoulder and arm!! click link for info http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/diseases/fact...

  10. Good for him.  The doctor will do CAT scans, MRI's and dump a bunch of drugs on him.  Have him go see a Chiropractor.  Cheaper and he will fix the pain not cover it up with drugs.

  11. I don't know but I do think he should see a doctor or at least ring and talk to one about it - hope its nothing serious but always best to check and be sure...

  12. a trapped nerve. Try ice pack and pain killers.
