Husbands underclothes are Grey (were white)?

My husband is a major sweater and it seems the past year he is sweating worse as he does alot of hard labor. I wash his white clothes along with the rest of the families whites in hot water, good detergent and clorox bleach on the whitest whites cycle of my very expensive kenmore washing machine. Our clothes come out just as white as the day we bought them but hubby's whites are grey.

What can I do to get them white again or to prevent them from getting grey inthe first place?

  1. buy some new ones or get colored undies :D

  2. i've used oxiclean before and presoaked.

    i've also used baking soda and a little liquid laundry soap mixture and presoaked as well

    good luck

  3. I'm pretty sure he's dying them grey to cover up the lipstick stains....hire a private investigator and get to the bottom of this scandal!

  4. do a presoak - in some borax and washing soda.

  5. I have had great results when I soak in oxiclean, It doesn't hurt any fabric, whites or colors.

    This is what I do for stains;

    It takes out most every stain, in an hour to three days.

    dissolve 1/2 cup oxiclean powder in some hot water, in a bucket or large bowl. Add enough water so the item can soak. Add cold water after the oxiclean is dissolved when the item should not be in hot water. Let soak till the stain is gone.

    Each day Refresh the oxiclean and water. By draining the water and making a new mixture.

    I got hair dye and yellowing from age as well as under arm stains out, also will get bleeding from other colors out, just to name a few tough stains that can be gotten out!
