MIchael Hussey, Doug Bollinger to return home before Goa ODI
The Australian duo of Michael Hussey and Doug Bollinger will return home from the current ODI series against India without playing the third and the final match at Goa on Sunday. Hussey had played in the
two Test matches on tour apart from the second ODI while Bollinger had played in the first Test match before sitting out of the second Test and the second ODI.

Hussey will go home to play in the game between http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Australia-c844 in the Sheffield Shield, while Bollinger will look to recover from his abdominal strain which had kept him out of the
second Test match at Bangalore.

According to the Australian physiotherapist, Kevin Sims, "Doug reported some minor discomfort to his abdomen during his rehabilitation from the previous injury. We do not think the new issue is serious, however
it will prevent him from achieving the workloads necessary for him to be available for selection in the third ODI in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Goa-c786. Therefore we have decided it is in his best interests to return to Australia for further assessment and to outline further rehabilitation.
Doug's return-to-cricket date will be finalised following this assessment."

Hussey’s case is different. He was a part of the Champions League t20 in September and played throughout the tournament because his team, Chennai Super Kings entered the final. This was followed by the couple
of Test matches and the second ODI, which meant that he has barely had a break before the start of the Ashes.

Besides, the selectors think that it will make sense for Hussey to practice on tracks that are similar to the ones the Aussies will encounter during the Ashes.

The chairman of selectors, Andrew Hilditch said that the decision to send Hussey back was a part of his workload management. Hilditch added, "Michael will have a few days off and then resume cricket in the
Sheffield Shield match between South Australia and WA commencing on 29 October at Adelaide Oval."

http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 lead the series 1-0 and the Goa ODI is the last game of the compressed tour. The first game at Kochi was cancelled due to rain.
