Hussey, Haddin strike centuries
Michael Hussey and Brad Haddin put Australia in a commanding position as they racked up a remarkable partnership of 293 runs for the sixth wicket. As a result, Australia piled up a massive total of 436 for 5 by tea on the third day of the first Ashes Test
at Brisbane.

Moreover, Hussey brought his century with a smashing cover drive in the first session. In addition, the left hand batsman remained unbeaten on a significant individual score of 176 runs. He started the innings in a conservative manner, though he hammered
every bad delivery that was offered to him by the English bowlers.

As Australia stamped their authority in the second session, England bowlers had to work hard. It was a tiring session for England as they did not grab a wicket in the entire session.
England had their chances as Anderson dropped Haddin on 113 off the bowling of Stuart Broad. The ground fielding was untidy as the session progressed.
Australian is now in a commanding position. It is just a matter of time when the home team does declare their innings. England on the other hand, has to come up with something special to break this outstanding partnership between Haddin and Hussey.
