Hussey fears India’s comeback in Sydney - Cricket News Update
The experienced Australian middle-order batsman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MEK-Hussey-c1942, fears India’s comeback in the second Test of the ongoing four-match series, to be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, Hussey, revealing his nervousness, saying that the star-studded Indian side, led by the iconic batsman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SR-Tendulkar-c2556, could bounce back at the SCG.
"I am a bit nervous,” said the 36-year-old http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Western-Australia-c865 batsman who struck a match-winning half-century in the series opener at Melbourne Cricket Ground last week.
“With the stars aligning with Tendulkar needing one more hundred (to set an international record of ton of ton) in Sydney -- he has made runs here. It is ominous," he added further.

Riding on http://www.senore.com/Cricket/RT-Ponting-c2377 and Mike Hussey’s dazzling half centuries, Australia convincingly won the Boxing Day Test at MCG by 122 runs.
With the SCG groundsmen promising a pace friendly wicket for the second Test, one can expect the hosts to be favourites. However, Hussey revealed that his side was bracing up for an Indian fight back at Sydney.
"They know their game so well, they have played in Australia and they could bounce back," said the left-hander.
"The Indian batsmen are extremely skillful. They know their game so well, they have played in Australia, they could bounce back but we can take confidence as well," he added further.
Hussey also expressed disappointment over his controversial dismissal in the first innings in Melbourne, where he was given caught behind off http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Z-Khan-c98379 while TV replays showed that the ball had not touched Hussey’s bat. If the DRS was present, the decision
would have been reversed.
"It was a reaction which said: give me a break. I was preparing so well...hitting the ball well...So I was yelling at cricket gods to give me a break,” told Hussey when asked about his reaction after being given out wrongly.
Sydney Test will be followed by two more Tests and a couple of T20 Internationals before http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 as well.
