The PSV midfielder has expressed his desire of playing in the English Premier League, while adding that he wants to leave his current side after winning the Eredivisie title.
PSV Eindhoven midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Atiba-Hutchinson-c6889, has made it clear that he wants to take the next step in his career after playing in the highest echelons of Dutch football for more than two years.
The 29-year-old, who joined the Eindhoven giants in the summer of 2010 after represented FC Copenhagen in well over 100 games, has thus far donned the jersey of the Boeren in 63 Eredivisie games, netting four goals while amassing plenty of assists along
the way.
However, after plying his trade at Philips Stadion for more than two seasons, the Canadian international has expressed his desire of taking the next step in his career.
“After two and a half years at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 I am ready for a new step, Hutchinson was quoted as saying to the Dutch media.
The versatile midfielder, who made his professional career debut at York Region Shooters in the 2002/03 season, went on to reveal that he has always desired to play for a club in the English Premier League.
“It's always been my ambition and dream to play in the Premier League”, Hutchinson added.
The former Copenhagen midfielder has thus far only managed to win a KNVB beker Cup and a Johan Cruyff Schaal with PSV since his arrival at Philips Stadion.
However, the 29-year-old, who can also play at the right-back position, has expressed his desire of winning the Eredivisie title before leaving the Dutch powerhouse at the end of the ongoing campaign.
“Hopefully I can leave with a championship in Eindhoven”, Hutchinson concluded.
The former Helsingborg midfielder has an ongoing contract at Philips Stadion that is due to expire in the summer of 2013. Reports confirm that the PSV management were keen to prolong the versatile midfielder’s stay at Philips Stadion.
However, Hutchinson denied signing an extension to his expiring contract, and made it clear that he wants to test himself in a tougher competition one more time before hanging up his boots in the seasons to come.
