New Aston Villa manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-Hutton-c4253 that he can leave Villa Park this summer as he is not part of the manager’s plans for next season.
The 42-year old was appointed as Villa manager and replaced http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 McLeish, who left the club in June. Lambert moved to Villa Park in controversial fashion as he left his former club Norwich City and forced a move away from Carrow Road.
The Scotsman had achieved legendary status with his former club, leading them to two consecutive promotions, first to the Championship and then to the Premier League. This was a remarkable achievement for the manager, whose desire to leave the club was received
with surprise and bewilderment.
Lambert has already made a number of changes at Villa Park as he looks to improve the squad and improve upon their woeful form last season, which saw them narrowly avoiding relegation and having the worst home record in the club’s history.
The manager signed right-back Matthew Lowton from Sheffield United for a reported fee of £3 million back in July. This move has cast doubts about current right-back http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-c4244 Hutton’s future with the club.
It is understood that Lambert is keen on a major squad overhaul, having already signed the likes of Karim El-Ahmadi, Australian http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ron-Vlaar-c31697.
All three players are imports from the Dutch Eredivisie, and were well established names back in Holland. Their arrival has truly boosted the strength of the Villa squad, with many welcoming the revolution.
One player however won’t be part of the change at Villa Park. Speaking about Hutton, Lambert said:
“He’s shown a good attitude in training so there are no qualms on that front. I spoke to Alan before we went to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/America-c38390 and it is the same as before.”
“Nothing has changed really. He is training with the first team and doing everything right.”
“I have no problem with Alan whatsoever and he knows that because I had a chat with him.”
“There have been no inquiries for Alan – not at the minute.”
Hutton has managed 31 appearances for Aston Villa after he moved there from Tottenham Hotspur last season, and is still currently a Villa player. But that may change soon as the transfer deadline approaches.
