The chairman of Swansea City Huw Jenkins revealed that the club is expected to make an announcement over the appointment of new manager on Friday, and the process of selection has already neared completion.
Currently, the managerial seat is lying vacant at the Liberty Stadium, following former manager Brendan Rodgers move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 at the start of June.

However, Jenkins has rubbished the speculations that the Swans have already selected the new manager, but admitted that the club is on course to conclude the process within the earlier announced deadline.
While talking to reporters, he said: “The average length of time it has taken us to appoint a manager in the past is 15 days. That takes us up to Friday this time around, and I am hopeful that we will fit in again with our average.”
Jenkins, who is currently in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cyprus-c2881, also revealed that he remained in touch with the board of directors on daily basis despite being away from home, and the club was determined in picking up the most suitable option out of the list of potential candidates.
Meanwhile, the former Swansea manager Jan Molby has backed the Dane legend for the management job at the Welsh club. He indicated that there was a lot of excitement and buzz in Denmark over the reports linking Laudrup with Swansea, as he may become the first
person from the country to manage a Premier League side.
He told the reporters, “I think he'll do well. I know Michael was very impressed with the way things are done [in the Premier League], the way in which he is in control of footballing matters, selling of players, buying of players.”
He went on to say that Laudrup’s management style is well aligned with that of the Swans, and he can build on the foundations laid down by Rodgers during his 2 year spell.
