Hvac system

Question

My air isn't working properly.  When I turn it on you can hear the unit out side come on but the air is barely blowing and isn't very cool at all.  So I turned the furnace from auto to on, it is blowing now but still isn't cool. Can somebody tell me what my problem may be.
