Hwo do you stop someone from reading your messgaes and stuff but not through touching your phone?

apparently you can do it and i think my step dad has done it to my phone hementioned somethign about you can do it to anyone as long as you have there number?

please how do i stop this?

It sounds like you are talking about somebody hacking your phone... I didn't even know that was possible. They could just be reading your texts on one of your friend's phones. I know you can lock graphics and stuff with a number lock. That's what I do to my phone....
