Hwo much should i score in practical to get an A in A level physics?

ive jsut done my a level exams and ive done badly in the practical test 3-losing around 20 marks, does this mean i cant get an A now?

  1. u can get an A even if ur practical test is not good enough . The grades mostly depends on the written paper. If ur written exam is good, then u can get an A easily. This was what happened with me when I was in A-levels. My practical exams were not good but still i manage to get A grade in physics on 90%.


  2. if you did really well in the written exam, then it will make up for the practical. doesn't stop you from getting an A.

  3. How do you know you did so badly? You get error carried through marks so don't worry too much:) Your planning is worth 8 marks and you also have the written part of the module...your marks are given for the module, not the practical! do well in the written paper and you will be fine:) i flunked my module 3 practical - drew a curve instead of a line and took the wrong measurements:) and i ended up with an A..somehow...

    Remember if you found it hard, everyone else did and then the grade boundaries drop:)

  4. they change the boundaries every year depending on peoples scores
