Hybrid vehicles?

how much would u pay for a hybrid vehicle that got 100 mpg on the highway running on E85 ethanol and doesn't look like a prius?

I hate Priuses, everybody thinks hybrid==prius.  Not so.

OK start with a $5000 used car you like, the engine can be junk because we're yanking it. Convert to an electric car, with a decent AC drive and an advanced battery pack, $15000.  Leave enough room for a fuel tank and a small Thermo King diesel-generator, $3000, which provides power on long hauls.

For $23,000 you get a plug-in hybrid that runs on $2.59/gal. SVO (or diesel, if CostCo is closed) and gets 100mpg (assuming you plug it in some of the time).   With off-the-shelf technology.

i will be ready to pay da price tag because its a hybrid car -

1stly-it will save u`re money for fuel

2ndly-it restricts pollution

u can go for fuel cell cars that can even power u`re house

Don't really need the hybrid, or the ethananol. This one gets 235 mpg (U.S) and I want one. (but it is not in production.)

Might have to settle for a Lupo 3l tdi though. (Only 78 mpg U.S)

You are not going to find a vehicle that will get 100mpg on E85 unless it is something with the size and weight of a moped.

I think it'd be worth no more than $50,000 if it had the performance of an everyday car. But I wouldn't be able to afford it :-(

I'd assume that over the years it'd get less expensive.

That vehicle will never exist in your life time. All E85 does is take engine life away from cars and drives up the price of corn. So with the E85 already out watch how much chicken will cost at the store next year.
