Scott had the following statements to give after he had just experienced an exhilarating win in the sands: “This feels great. Ty (Loomis) and Mark (Williams) really took it to us yesterday so we knew we had to step up, serve tougher today. We were able to
pull off the win today and I just feel really satisfied right now.”
On the other hand, Hyden expressed himself in the following manner: “I really want to attribute this win to the Cincinnati fans – you guys have been awesome. Even when we lost yesterday you applauded us, our efforts and kept us up.”
The second seeded duo got its ticket into the final of the championship after having won the semi-final against the top ranked team of Matt Fuerbringer and Nick Lucena. The match was intense and took three thrilling sets to reach its close. The first set
