After bowling-out their opponents on 213 runs, Hyderabad (India) managed to end the second day with 130 for the loss of six wickets in their second innings.
They knew that they would get some tough competition from the bowlers on the final day; however, they had already posted enough runs on the board to give Railways a huge target to chase.
SE Rajan and AA Bhandari resumed the batting, taking the score to 168, before Railways drew first blood when http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kathuria-Anureet-Singh-c70469 hit Rajan’s stumps with the batsman standing on 25 runs off a hundred deliveries.

Requiring a nerve-racking target of 321 runs to win, Railways’ openers SS Shukla and AG Paunikar gave their side a stand of 31 runs, before their opponents made inroads when Shukla was dismissed by Shinde after hammering 23 runs.
The second-wicket partnership was mindboggling, as AG Paunikar and KV Sharma staged a magnificent onslaught against the opposition.
The duo led the side towards 119 runs before the departure of KV Sharma, who fell two runs short of hitting a half century.
Paunikar was then joined by skipper SB Bangar, as the two batsmen took the score to 141, before suffering the loss of the captain who succumbed after smacking 15 off 12. A run later, Ojha dismissed Paunikar for 52 off 121.
M Rawat and NS Bhille then averted a batting collapse, as the two batsmen led their side to 224 before the former hit the showers after belting 48 runs.
With M Kartik hitting 12 and M Suresh faltering after scoring seven runs, Bhille stayed unbeaten on 65 alongside http://www.senore.com/Cricket/PM-Madkaikar-c2195 (3) as they ended the day by posting 280 runs.
