Hyderabadis "Tafree" (joy ride in the evening) did traffic killed it ?

More and more families today like to keep indoor and to keep

away from the traffic - no outings or tafree rides for children anymore, is this the price of modernisation and expansion ?

You are correct Mr. Asker. In the name of Modernisation and expansion the basic rights of the citizens, to walk freely has been snatched. This has affected a lot to the present day Children, as they do not have a play ground to enjoy, both in Schools and in City limits. Now, the parents can not take them out even on week ends. I, remember the joy of spending the evenings at the banks of Hessian Sagar, with some snacks in hand, with exposed to the cool breeze. The traffic was almost nil after 7 pm. But now it is an impossible thing to walk on the bank or foot path.

The case is same in all Cities. We have lost that privilege of spending an evening with Children and Wife, walking leiserly on foot paths in the City, and window shopping.
