  1. If one would like this from the "green" point of views, then is "c". And as if one have to consider this, from the investment point of views. If the setting up of the hydro electric wouldn't; cost the earth? Then the "d" it is! Because by opting for the "d" variant, there the point "c" will come along for free.


  2. The answer is (c).

    (a) is wrong because hydroelectricity (if I assume you misspelled) requires a large source of moving water such as a dam/lake/river or ocean movement, and this is not available in most areas.

    (b) is wrong because it doesn't necessarily make it clean, nuclear power generates the most energy, but it isn't 'clean' either, at least not in the nuclear sense of the word, but it is clean in terms of the fossil fuels debate.

    (c) is correct because it burns no fuels and emits no carbon dioxide and other burning waste products.

    (d) is wrong because it requires massive investment in infrastructure like building dams and turbines.  In China, entire villages were wiped out to build massive dams for hydroelectricity purposes.... a very costly exercise.
