Last fall I cut back the stalks on my hydrangeas, apparently I wasnt supposed to do that because all summer there have been no flowers.Should I rip them out and start over,if so should I do it in the fall or next spring?is there any chance that they will come back?

  1. Don't rip them out.  Just don't trim the wood this year, and they will bloom next year on this year's wood.

  2. Most hydrangeas bloom on old wood.  Give them another year and see if the results are better.
