  1. Two ways to put wax on your skiis,

    1. Rub it on hard, it will last maybe a 1/2 day.

    2. Iron it on and in to the base of the boards. Use a hot iron that will let the wax melt into drops onto the base of the ski, run the iron over the wax until it flows to a thin film, let it coll and then scrape it to a thin film, and clean the edges.  There are many waxing irons on the market, electric is easiest to use, but a chemical burning iron is on the market.  I use an old clothes iron and wax my skiis every 3-4 days of use, more often as the snow gets abrasive in the spring. It will take about 10 hot waxes to get your bases saturated enough that they will slide there best.  Different waxes have different temperature ranges, so just one type will not be all that you will need.  Keep the skiis waxed for best performance.

  2. OK so first you need to get your skis in a vice so they dont slide around.

Most people use a special wax heating tool but i just use an old iron.

Let it heat up and where there is a place on the iron with no holes (normally the bottom) just hold the wax on there and it'll drip only put a few drops on per inch. You dont want too much of it'll be hard to scrap off.

Then once you finish that just simply iron your ski ( i know it sounds bad but trust me its totally ok for it) You dont need to do it for too long just untill you feel that the wax is applied everywhere. Add more wax as nessicary.

Then once you do that let it cool.

Finally get a plexi glass scrapper and scrap towards the BACK of your ski. Not the front because you ski forwards im assuming ;)

Hope i helped any more questions beyond this feel free to email me!
