Hydrocephalas what is the prognosis when surgery is not an option?

my grandma has just been diagnosed with hydrocephalus she is 93 and has a previous history of dementia and strokes, surgery is not an option but i would like to know what to expect when i look after her if she is discharged from hospital? how much time does she have left ? please any information would be appreciated as all the websites seem to be geared for people who are eligible for surgery .

  1. This is really something you need to talk to her doctor about.  Especially when you reach 93, with the list of previous conditions, anything could happen.
