Hydrogen Peroxide on bug bite?

Is it safe to put H2O2 on a bug bite? Its itching me like crazy. Id rather feel the sting instead of the itchiness. will H2O2 help at all?

Yes.Peroxide is safe and I have never had it sting or burn when used but for bug bites.as suggested meat tenderizer-paste of banking soda-apple cider vinegar-oatmeal paste-ice-and old reliable calamine lotion are the stand by homeremediesr a sting of a bee-wasp-hornet-ect-try taping a penny on it right away-(have did it and it worked)


  2. rubbing alcohol works to relieve the itch.

  3. I don't know about hydrogen peroxide, but I've heard meat tenderizer works on bug bites that itch. Good luck!

  4. I use witches hazel - which is about the same thing.  That or you can buy benadryl cream to put on bug bites, or poison ivy.
