Question:

Hydrogen booster question?

I'm trying to build a hydrogen booster for my 1997 ford ranger, only thing is that it's lowered in the front and it's not the smoothest ride in the world, even little bumps on the road make me bounce. i was wondering if i should worry about the water from the booster getting into my air intake? in all the designs i've seen there is really no protection vs water entering the tube where the hydrogen is supposed to leave the canister. any suggestions?

  1. I've read the books from water4gas.com. I'm pretty sure they talk about a mechanism for keeping water out of the air intake. There are diagrams on the site that you can look at without buying the books. I'd check that out. The site looks cheap, but it has good information.

  2. Hydrogen boosters are a myth. You can get water in your intake, which can mix with you engine oil, which is bad. Hydrogen will also increase engine temperatures, which hurts fuel efficiency and could possibly damage your engine.

The risks are not worth and claimed benefits. I have yet to come across a peer reviewed scietific article that has anything good to say about these hydrogen boosters.
