hydrogen peroxide is stronger bronsted acid then water, explain?

is it acid or basic in aqeuos solution, write equation for the reaction?

this is last question of my tutorial need to submit today, help plz.... 10 points

  1. Hydrogen peroxide is a weak acid in aqueous solution.

    This means that if one considers the reaction

    H2O2  -->  H+   + OOH-

    and the equilibrium constant

    Khp  =  [H+][OOH-]/[H2O2]

    and compares it with the equilibrium constant for water and the reaction

    H2O  -->  H+  + OH-

    Kw = [H+][[OH-]/[H2O]

    Then  Khp>>  Kw
