Which would be the best way of avoiding passing it to others after using same shower/bath? Would it be enough to bleach the surfaces afterwards? Thanks

  1. My husband has toenail fungus for years.  I have used the same shower as he does for years and I still don't have the toenail fungus.  We also sleep in the same bed each night.  It is not really that easy to spread the fungus to another person. If you wore the other persons shoes, then I would say you had a better chance of getting it.  Yes, bleach or any disinfectant bathroom cleaner will do the trick.....

  2. As far as I know toenail fungal cannot be passed to others. But the shower/bath should be cleaned after every use. Mold is a bigger problem than someone else's fungal toes...by the way, have that person use vicks vapor rub nightly on the toe nail, and underneath it. Eventually the fungal (2-3 months) or less it will go away.
