Question:

Hyosung GT250R Quality?

I've heard a lot of different things about the quality of Hyosung's 250 like the paintjob didn't hold, it rusted, the parts were poorly made. Have you experienced these things? Is the bike worth buying over the 250 Ninja?

I'd like some feedback from some people who have actually owned a Hyosung, please don't bother responding if you haven't.

  1. well i had one and mine i guess was a good one out of the batch hahah

    but just try it

  2. I do not own one but I fix them when and if something goes wrong. I hardly ever do more than oil changes and adjust valves. If you go to

www.prideinwhatyouride.com you can learn all you need to know it is a forum made of riders of  this and other small motorcycles. THe ones with the bad paint and rust have got me. I have never seen one like that. I think in the video about it Kawasaki must have had a  hand in that. Probably got one that had been in a shipping container for a couple of years.  And I would ride it anywhere.

  3. Yes..  great bike for the price..    But you get what you pay for..

Bought mine second hand with 2600Ks on the clock..

Ive got mine to go to work & back..   40 Km  round trip.. so saves me putting 1000K a month on the big bike & cheap on gas..

will do freeway speeds no problems. had mine 2 years & still going strong.. 18,400 Ks on the clock..

  4. Thank you for this question, and the way you worded it.  I am interested in one for my first motorcycle.  I find the yapping, and brand-bashing, and country-bashing, around here to be juvenile, at best.

A good honest question, and so far, good honest answers.

I know this isn't an answer, but after all the trash talk on this board, I had to speak up.  I'm the one who gave you a star.
