Hypatheticly if i crashed my car

in a un occupied area nothing but my vehicle was damaged do i have to report it to anyone? dmv? insurrance? popo's?

  2. If you crashed your car into dirt, no.  If you hit something, like a tree or a wall, then yes, you have to report it to the police.

  4. I don't think you'd have to report it unless you wanted to get it fixed and have the insurance pay for it. As long as the car is still safe to drive then you should be good.

    I crashed my car, but the guy who stopped to help me called the cops so I didn't get that choice...then again the back of my car was also totaled haha

  5. What do you mean "un occupied area?" If you mean that no one else's property was damaged then no, you don't have to notify the police or insurance. If you want the car fixed and want the insurance to pay for it, then the insurance company obviously has to know, but if you're willing to live with the damage then only you need know about it.
